As you should know by now if you have read my blog before I am really into traveling, and now I am getting ready for a new adventure. Spring break is around the corner and I am getting all my stuff ready because I am leaving to England on Sunday. I am very exited for this trip because I have never been to this country and there is nothing more exciting than going somewhere for the first time. Leaving is just something that comes to me very easily, I don’t mean leaving and never coming back, I mean giving new places a chance and enjoying some new experience. Because I am traveling with someone that has lived there we will be staying with people she knows already so the idea of meeting new people, specially locals is really interesting to me. I can wait for Sunday to come so I can get to leave again to go to this new place for some great experiences and adventures with amazing people.

 Traveling might be scary for many people. There is the language, the food and the culture. but people need to remember that almost everywhere in the world they are going to be able to find somebody that speaks english. this way they will be able to communicate in one way or another without difficulties. If food is the worry, i can assure you that you will find something that you like, and if not there are always some type of americanized restaurant or fast food place that you can find. Sometimes it is even interesting to visit these big chains because there are alterations in the menus and some slight differences in the decorations. Lastly, culture is something magical and getting to learn how people live their lives in a different part of the world is amazing, so you should never be afraid of this. so if any of these things were stopping you from going places, now you know it is not that bad!

Leaving is always hard. There are many things that can make a person want to stay where they are. The idea of leaving all of your friends and family is a first. Second leaving the place you live at, means going somewhere that might not be as comfortable. Third going places is expensive. Because of this, many people just decide to stay where they are and live their life comfortably. What they don’t know is that they are missing out on a lot. There are so many wonderful people in this world. People that might affect you positively, negatively but they will affect you and you will become a better person because you met them. Three years ago I had the opportunity of coming to the U.S. to go to college, at the beginning I was not very interested in the idea of moving somewhere that I had never been (MA), and not only that but having to make friends one way or another. After three years I have come to realize that I’ve made the best friend I have ever had in this place, and I wouldn’t be the same person if I hadn’t give it a try. Also a year ago I decided to study abroad, and I went on a boat through Asia, Africa and Europe. We visited 12 different countries in 4 months and it was unbelievable. What made this trip so much better though was the friends I made, without them it wouldn’t have been half as good as it actually was. And now that I am back in MA I not only have all of the good friend I have made in my three years here but I also have an awesome group of friend from 35 different countries that I met while at sea. So give it a try, who know you might even like it. I know I made the right decision for myself and maybe it is right for you too so just experience it for your self and then decide if it was really worth it! 

Istambul in my opinion is one of the most magical cities in the world, and this is a picture of the Blue Mosque which is an amazing place that anyone visitng Istambul should go see.

There is a world out there and everyone should experience it at least a little. For many different reasons that I am not going to get into (at least n this entry) it is harder for some people to leave their country than to others. I have been very lucky that I not only have been able to leave my country but also, I have lived in another country, and lived in a boat traveling through three continents in four months. I know I am a very lucky person and this is not something that most people are able to experience, but because I have done this I feel I can tell people that they need to get out, and just go to another country. It doesn’t matter if you are from North America, South America, Central America, Europe, Asia, Africa, or Oceania you need to go somewhere, at least a neighboring country because even if the cultures are alike, there are some differences and that is what makes this world interesting, the differences between, people, cultures, countries, religions and continents. If traveling to another country is not something that is possible right now, then go to a different part of you country, it can be the next town, or state. The idea is to go somewhere new, it doesn’t matter if it is a 10 minute drive or a 30 hour flight, just give it a try and I am sure you will not regret it.

Basically there are three ways of getting places, by land, by air, or by water. And all of those are also very different things that can change the way a person experience the place that they are visiting. That is where it all starts, by just picking a place and figuring out how to get there. Depending on the place chosen to go, a person can also experience other places in between, and that is one of the great things about traveling. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to go places, because there are so many different places, cultures and special thing around the world that everyone should be able to experience a little change.
